For years i was a knife snob, ive had about 9 chris reeve knives and about 8 striders, 12 william henrys ,,etc,...A few weeks ago i bought a buck 110, I am so impressed with the fit and finish, which was near perfect, and to boot the blade had perfect grinds and was razor sharp. It even came with a very nice black leather sheath. Everyone should have one in their collection.
Next i bought an ontario 499 survival knife, for around 40.00 and again im totally impressed, First off the leather sheath was great ,very high quality, then the knife was near perfect, razor sharp, and had a great fit and finish. again i would recomend putting one in your stable. So to sum it up for well under a 100 bucks you could have both great knives.
