Is this knife worth buying?

It's in excellent condition, and works perfectly . . .

It is hard to make a decision given the information you have (not) posted...
Is it worth buying????

I guess it would depend on these questions here:
Who did the conversion?
What is the price?
Do you want an auto 110?
Does it have a sheath/ box?
Is it legal to own in your area???

Just remember, a converted 110 is no longer covered by Bucks lifetime warranty...

Me personally I wouldn't want a converted 110 but thats just my .02.
Good luck!

ugh ... a pict would be nice or more info...
If I owned it I'd be able to provide a photo.

Since the question is whether or not to buy it, the photo is a bit tricky.

The only things I can really add are that the conversion looks pretty professional, and the scales are held on by brass screws rather than rivets.

Given this info, I would not buy it.
(IMHO)

i agree with my esteemed colleague. unless better information comes
dont do it!
now if you know it is not a knock off of a buck knife
and it it less then 50$ you might take a chance if it looks nice...
any good converson will have the converters name on the blade... such as CM&T..
screws instead of rivits seems cheep and evdance of haveing to take apart to adjust which means poor mechanicals...
my information is that one or two of every 5 attempted to convert fails to ever work better then poorly if at all...
many times converts are shut down by LEO's and move on else ware...

that it is mastadon ...
well even that has been known to be of poor quality and crack apart ...
is this one offered in person or on line?
(i do not do automatics) but if it is on line email me or wh4f the url if you want an opinon on it...
if you are a brand newbie to bucks- remember this unless you KNOW for sure what you are looking at - if it seems to good to be true ~ then it is most likey not true and you will get stuck ...
in ohio i met a dealer who got stuck on fake bucks with cheep conversons to the tune of 200 each for " at least one" with a realy nice etch of buck name and comumbina machine and tool but totaly a knock off as cmt does not do that type of illegal converson at all...! most all deacent conversons are over 100$ any thing cheeper then 76$ is ... well mostly jest cheep...

On the other hand,if its a real Buck LE (box, papers ect.)and it works well,Price is everything! 200.00 would not be out of line....Origional cost would likly be over that...

But Buck doesn't make auto 110's.

It couldnt be a LE. Without preamp posting price, legality in his area, all original, and who did the conversion, it is VERY hard to say "yeah go ahead and buy it"!

I just tried to answer his question with the given info he supplied, it is very vague... No way would I spend the money on said knife. (unless I held it in my hand or had better info)(IMHO) ;)

Well, the price is certainly right; it looks gorgeous in the photos; and it must be a Buck or it wouldn't be advertised as such!!! :)

OK...Is it a dual-action, or a single action auto???

If Buck did make a non auto 110 with Mastodon ivory I was thinking it would list way over 200.00....Did they make one? Im not sure but I think I saw a 500 wih ivory priced over 300.00

334, remember that nice DA leaf in Alanta??? It went for 125.00 if I remember correctly...
