These are screen shots from Sunday's season 3 finale of the alien invasion series "Falling Skies".

A young character 'Matt Mason" receives knife throwing lessons early in the episode from a military leader "Captain Weaver".









Later in the episode, he uses his new skill to take out an attacking alien "critter".

 
That's exactly what buck had in mind when that knife was designed and mass produced.
They knew the aliens would be here soon enough.
 
Started this show recently and noticed in Season 4 ep 5, one of the brothers holding Tom Mason hostage is again using a Buck 110 for whittling.

Must be one of the prop master's favorite knives lol.
 
I believe Stallone threw a 110 in the movie Cobra. It worked.

I might post a Beware of 110 sign for alien trespassors.

It was a Michael Walker. The knife he stuck the bad guy with at the beginning of the movie in the store. "Your the disease and I'm the cure" stick. Love that line. The knife has some kind of ivory scales.

Probably custom made for Stallone. Used to have one a Walker tactical linerlock knife from the 80's. Sold it in the 90's like a dumbass.
 
I believe the 110 was also in the 1982 movie The Thing. The guy in charge of the dogs used one I think.

Now the world has one great reason to never leave home without a buck 110 alienator
