Hey I broke the tip of the blade off of my BUCK 110. I was wondering if the Buck Warranty will cover it or not. I wasn't being abuse to. No prying just sticking into a board. Would like opinions back about how well Buck is with there Warranty service.

Contact Buck. They provide some of the best warranty in the world.

Personally, I'm skeptical the blade would break without abuse lol.

Well maybe just a little bit of abuse.

My opinion, let your conscience be your guide. Only you know how you broke it so when you send it in, tell them what you did and how it happened. Worst case is that it costs you shipping (it will anyway) plus $10 for a new blade, a cheap lesson in knife use and care. More than likely they will do it free of charge, but not because it's a warranty issue, blades don't just break. In either case, your conscience will be clear. ;)

Will replace the blade on a older model a 1987? I broke the knife my standing 2 foot from the tree trunk that I was trying to stick it in.

Ok, now the truth comes out!.:D So you threw the knife at the tree?

At any rate, they will replace the blade but most likely it will be from the current model year and not from '87.

Yeah, Buck will probably replace it...and the rest of us will pay for it when Buck has to raise their price or discontinue a fair warrenty, all to offset the few who take advantge just because they can. Buck makes a mighty fine knife. Throwing a Buck at a tree is abuse plain and simple.

At least you get a newer blade with a stronger tip.
Left is a 2011 and right a 1993 110 blade.
