Ok so i decided to add my buck 110 into the mix. I keep out a benchmade griptilian, benchmade benchmite II, kershaw blur, victorinox centurion, victorinox swisstool and buck x-tract. The problem is the last 1/4" of the tip hits the inside of the butt, the silver liner near the spring. I dont want it to keep happening. I know lockbacks and slipjoints do this but should it bottom out that bad?

No, the blade edge should not make any contact with the inside of the grip frame.

Either send it in to Buck for fixing or you'll have to see if simply grinding back the offending area via sharpening will solve the issue - such repair could simply move the area of contact.

This only happens to one of my 110's.

If I accidentally snap the blade closed. The force of the closing blade moves the backspring enough to allow the blade to make contact in the same spot as your knife.

When the knife is closed there is no contact. So now I try not to snap the blade closed.

If the blade's hitting the backspacer even when you close it gently, I'd send it back to Buck for repair. If it's only making contact if you let it snap closed, or push it closed, you could try cutting out a piece of cork and wedging it between the liners to cover the spacer. Some people do that with Laguioles and similar knives. I used that trick on my 110 a couple of years ago and it's been working well so far.
