There are a few of these around. In honor of Chuck I ordered two from SMKW with a note from him included and two from another dealer with his name on back only. Both are NS and red wood handles....They will stay NIB in my collection. I sense the SMKW ones were in an ad prior to his passing as there is no note about him passing and the timing just seems right....

I'm surprised that there haven't been any replies yet with a post like this. You are very lucky to have a note and blade like that. Chuck was a good man and he deserves tons of knives to dedicated to him. It's a good thing you're doing here.

Thanks...I was a little put off by the lack of responses myself.....The SMKW one with the note should be a collector's item one day....

Yeah you should definitely keep that in a good spot. I'm still surprised that their hasn't been any other responses. Bad timing I guess. Could you post a picture?

CA, what note and blade are you talking about... Pictures would help... ;)

We that collect Buck Knives always save one or two not to be used...

Yes Chuck was a very good guy one of the best... My grandkids really like him

and so did I... My grandkids don't understand that he is no longer here with us...

I hope you had a chance to meet him, like a lot us here on the forum did...

They will make a few Buck knives for him believe me... It just takes time...

Just like they did for is Dad Al... :)

I never did have a chance to meet him but I wish I had. It'd be great if I could see some pictures of the note that the author of this thread had gotten.

Tom, sometimes it takes time to respond to some ones post...

Maybe everyone is thinking about it... I'm not sure if there is a 110

Chairman that is different from the one that been around for 5 or so

years now, that you are talking about... With out pictures...

Plus on Sunday we have a Sunday Picture Show and we all get

caught up in that... Some times Sunday is not a good time to start

a new thread... I'm not saying you can't start one, we just get

busy with it, well some of us do... i can't speak for everyone...

Anyway when you get your new Buck 110 Chairmans knives

I hope you take the time to share them with us on the SPS...

We would love to see them or post them here on your Thread

Chuck Buck was a Great man... He will be missed...

:)

Is this different than a chairman series? I've not heard of one with a note.

I don't want to post the link BUT if you go onto the SMKW site you can see it...It has a fish faith symbol on it and is signed on the back of the Cherry wood handle, and then there is a note signed by Chuck.....The other one is a more normal one with his signature on the back....

I have this one, but I don't recall if it came with a note besides the normal papers. I'll have to check the box.

2TonyB, this is the one I was thinking about... It's been out for a few years I think...
Tony, what the year date on your box... Thanks ... :)

The date on the box is 11/18/13. It didn't have any note in the box. It did have the usual message from Buck.
