Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and I have a question. I was given a buck 110 collectors edition knife. I was curious of the approximate value. The knife has a gold etching of several moose on the blade and it still has a certificate that it is one of only 200 made. It is also in mint condition. Thanks to all who reply.

I'm not a moderator, but there is mention of "asking values" in "The Rules"...#6:
WHAT IS MY KNIFE / GADGET / SPATULA / TUNING FORK WORTH ?!?!?!?!
In order to curtail potential abuse of membership privileges associated with the forums, questions regarding valuation of knives and collections are limited to those with a membership level which permits selling on this site. Look on ebay and see what they are selling for. Collectors editions are never worth what someone paid...

h7,

Per rule's no prices......but, take a look at the blade and if your knife has 4 dots on the tang it was made in 1987.

That 110 Dave is still young enough to provide good info.

He's not as old as me yet, but he's trying to catch up by living a wild life.

If he tries to buy it from you for $5 you just e-mail me and I'll give you at least $6.

1st post, fishing for value of 'mint' condition 'collector'...I wouldn't be too upset, of course, it IS rude, but that's the way of the information age ;)
