Has anyone ever seen or owned this knife? I believe they were made available to BP agents in the early 1990's. I was wondering how many were made (they had special serial numbers).

Issued in 1988, Ebony scales, Brass frame, Laser inlay, Engraved, Sheath embossed.

The above information can be found on the BCCI LE/SO list.
Thanks, jb4570. What is the BCCI LE/SO list, and where do I find it? Also, do you have any idea how many were made?

And thanks to eveled, I had a chance to buy one of those, but the price was too steep at the time.

To see the list you have to be a member of the BCCI. It is a list that shows most of the limited edition knives or Special Order knives (SO knives are knives made to a customers specifications) made by Buck. This is a fantastic resource and worth the price of an e-membership (about $10 per year) to the Buck Collectors Club. The amount of knives made per issue is one of the bits of information provided for most of the knives listed. However, not for this one.

Thank you Chilebrown for the great photos of a beautiful knife, and thanks to jb4570 for the information. I will probably never be able to replace the one I had. There is a long and tragic story that goes with it that I don't feel right sharing.

I have a dim memory of a 112 Border Patrol 112..I think it was a Ebay listing around 2015 and the shieth was stamped but not gold embossed. I think it was from the 90's..
