Looking at my older knives bought in the late 80s I came across my Buck 25th Anniversary Mod 110 with the Gold Etched ser.#548 of 2500 with the date of 1961-1986 on the blade. It also has "The Legend Lives On" in a Banner and a Blacksmith hammering a knife on a anvil. On hinge area on the blade it has Buck CUSTOM USA same side. I do have the Brown Felt covered Case & Certificate. I don't want to sell it and it is still mirror mint as I have hardly ever handled it. It seems they made lots of 25th Anniversary over the years. Since mine has the start date of "1961" is it the first batch they made?

I also got the Statue of Liberty Knife with the Ellis Island doors wood handle, polished Bolsters , Copper and Gold Etched Polished Blade and wood holder for it. It was a wedding gift. I will try to post a picture of them later. Mark

Sorry but per the rules you have to have at least a gold level of membership to discuss prices/values.

Sounds like a great looking knife. I'd suggest doing a search on the big auction site and try and find others like it that have sold to get an idea of current market value. I'm not a big fan of the gold etched models but I know some folks are and collect them so there is interest out there.

I'm sorry I asked about value of the knife, was not sure since I did not want to sell it as it was a gift to me on Fathers Day that I was allowed to buy. The two knives discussed I have never been able to use due to the gold ETC. I no longer buy that kind but seem to pay more for the nice ones! Mark
