hello i'm new at this. i have a chance to buy one of these, i would like to know if $200.00 is a fair price. it has the anvil on the tang, which would make it a 2002 production. i knew that they produced 110 damascus in 1989 and 1990, but like i said i'm kind of new at this. can anyone tell me if this is a good price thank you for your time ;)
 
When the custom shoppe was open, you could get one for around 150.00, but when they reopen is still up for grabs, and before closing for the move they had listed damascus as not available.

So that's a tough call to me, you might be paying to much, but you might not be able to get the knife later either??????????????
 
thank you for your response, are these as good as the one's made in 1989 or 1990? or are the eairler one's more collectible and harder to find?

hard to say on Custom Shoppe knives I would think, rarer than stock models for sure, but how rare would be hard to say.

If mint with original box and sheath, surely would have gone up some, but how much????

If you can, watch ebay for similiar ones and see what they go for.
