I just got around to finishing up one of these special drop point S30V 110s that DLT offered here; http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...DLT-Team-up-to-create-the-110-Ultimate-Hunter

I bought two of these and will keep one exactly as purchased because I think they did a great job on choosing finishes for these knives.
But….I've really been wanting to use some ivory Micarta on a Buck 110 and this knife seemed special enough to warrant the work. Here's how it turned out.

I see I didn't get all the smudges of buffing compound off yet. :)

I really like this Buck/DLT offering and am also happy with the clean lines that the ivory Micarta gives it.

That is outstanding. I already liked the looks of the drop point 110 and that white micarta brings it over the top!

Very handsome and good workmanship. If you want it personalize, it's ready for a scrimshaw job. DM

An excellent combination of looks and functionality. I like the small pins. Great work Stumps.

I would talk to you if I had plans on carrying it.
I just have too many users, so I'll just display it for now. Thanks!

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone for the comments.
I've seen a couple Buck knives with the ivory Micarta in the past and always wanted one. Got a good one now! :)

That looks great. Nicely done. I agree with David; that knife is a prime candidate for some Scrimshaw work

Nice work as usual Stumps! I have a .44 Vaquero with scrimshaw white micarta stocks that would go well with!

Stumps, I always enjoy looking at the pictures of your custom work - you are a craftsman and the Buck looks great! OH
