Does anyone know if the Buck is still making those leather 110 sheaths with the strap on the back or have they switched back to the old-style belt loop?

The last new Buck 110 I bought, a SK Blades D2 SFO, came with the flat strap on the back of the distressed brown leather sheath. OH

I have tons of new and old sheaths and I'm wondering how to store them because the knives for them are in cases. Will just putting them in a box be alright? I like the old style with the belt loop better than the strap. I guess they save a little leather, just cutting costs.

I have a larger dresser drawer in my garage that I store all of my sheaths in. A mixture of leather, kydex, and cordura. If you make sure that your leather is good and oiled and the environment where you store them is nice and dry, you should be good to go with storing them in a box.

I'm glad mine was made in 2012 because I'm not so sure I'd like the new style of belt attachment.
