Buck 110 Factory Sheath

Is the standard black 110 sheath from the factory still have that flat strap on the back or have they gone back to the old style loop?

I got a 110 from them a couple of weeks ago and it's the loop style. I looked in the extra ones that I had ordered just the sheath, I had both?

Does it have a US flag stamped on the back? I saw some of the new 110 auto sheaths with that.

I picked up a brown distressed leather sheath at the factory a few weeks ago. It has the loop and the flag stamped on it.

No, it had a label "Made in USA"...Maybe we got something there. The flat has a Mexico label on it and it's looking like the USA ones have the loop??

I don't know, will have to look into it further. Maybe Jeff from Buck is still prowling around and respond?

mexican ones are the flat strap.....american ones are a sewed bottom looped around at top....or two slits in sheath for belt to feed through? thanks for clarifying......

My new Buck 110 Folding Hunter Pro has a Mexican made black leather sheath with the old style belt loop. OH

I actually think I would've liked that style of sheath, I like a tight higher riding belt knife that stays exactly where I put it and has no flop.
That's why I run by belt behind the loop on my 119 because it's too loose and floppy for my taste otherwise.

The one that came with my 110 is just fine, but I don't think I would've hated this other style.

It's starting to look like the Mex's are the flat strap and the USA's are looped...I prefer the loop I wear a wide thick belt and it just works easier, plus it's made in the USA...

Not a fan of any looped sheaths.. Too easy to bang, get caught on stuff!! Prefer them high/tight to the body!! JMO!! John

For me, if they ride too high, when sitting down it's stabbing me in the back and if your driving that could be bad...

I guess it's a too each his own thing. It's really hard to come up with a product that everyone likes...

im kinda with ya...but once sweaty they tend to stretch out after awhile .......so.....
