I don`t see a picture, but I don`t believe they were doing custom 110`s in the custom shop back then. Back in those days the custom shop was doing one off fixed blades.

I had one back in the day, then went to the Ranger, which was smaller and I liked it better for everyday wear, since back then we all had the belt sheath on, even in school etc.

I have this little beauty from 2003 -

Oh boy, I sure need glasses and a new computer monitor! I thought that first 110 was a Bill Clinton Commemorative at first! (sorry Chuck Buck)
P.S. My original posting made more sense before I erased most of it when I decided that it could be construed as a illegal sales effort that would get me banned!

One of my first well used knives was a 110. After scouts, I "graduated" to one of these...meaning I bought it myself with my paper route money! Used it for everything and carried it often. I bought one recently, but gave it to a buddy who told me he didn't own a knife! I was shocked and quickly fixed that situation.

my only 110 can be seen in this picture picked it up at a gathering as a gift from john himself, it has a place of importance in the ole knife box

Great photo. If if buy another 110, I'm going to order a thumb stud for easier one handed opening.
