Does anyone know if there are any 110's offered in other steel than the usual? Thanks all.

Thanks. I really love the 110. Would love to have the Alaskan Guide erosion from Cabelas but it is in black only I think.

So far as I can see (online), the Buck Custom Shop is still offering a satin-finish S30V blade option. If you search 'Buck Custom Shop' on Google, you'll see the link to their interactive configuration options page, which still appears functional, with the blade steel, handle material, bolster material (brass or nickel), and other options (serrations/plain edge, etc.) to select. Not sure if the page might be a dead-end, still functional but offering no actual purchase option. Still worth a look, though.

I think a question like this will be even more completely answered in the Buck Forum... where all Buck details are revealed.

The Buck Custom page is still operational and the 110 is offered in S30V steel. The blade coating on the Alaskan Guide offering was of nitride. I believe a couple different ones were offered. That 110 is a good one to get your hands on. DM

They made a 110 in CPM154 with aluminum/titanium/nitride (or something) blade coating for BassPro. Love mine.

Ive got 5 Buck Custom Shop 110s 2 in S30V. If I had known Bucks S30V was so good (Its BOS heat treated) all 5 of my customs would be S30V. Through the Custom Shop you can get a custom 110 in S30V for $96.00 as long as you don't go crazy with the handle material. Takes about a month from order to delivery.

The Buck 110 has been made in many different blade options over the years. If you take some time you can find them for resale often.

Do not overlook that the Buck Collectors Club has offered 110s (and other models) with a number of different steels and handle/design configurations. The D-2 110s from the club's Silver Anniversary commemoration are one such example and a few remain in the club inventory.
