I see that this model is arriving at dealers. I think they should have used an adjustable pivot on it. Then I'd probably have to buy one.

An adjustable pivot would be nice, but I can only imagine the price of that with all the extra machining for a limited edition knife.

I received my Lochsa the other day and I love it. A lot of people complain about the thumbstud location. You can't use the thumbstud like a traditional thumbstud. You must open it like a CRK Sebenza. You have to use an upward push instead of an outward. I have pretty big hands and can open mine just fine.

Glad to hear that. I had wondered if that were the case. Some knives, like my Benchmade 710, don't have scalloped areas of access for the studs and you pretty much have to push up on the stud instead of out. Of course your large hands may make it possible where other may not be able to. Its much easier to operate a liner-lock or Axis-lock in that manner than a stiff lock-back. I am encouraged to hear its possible though.

I open the blade some with my thumb and middle finger than snap it open with the stud. Works pretty good.
