Field and Stream has an article out in the current issue that lists 35 Made in America, Iconic products and not surprisingly Buck 110 made the list. Hopefully I'm not violating anything by posting a link to the article, especially since I'm sure the article will probably contribute to a few more 110 sales.

Great article. Winchester's Model 70 should have made the list, particularly the pre-'64 Model 70.

Looks like they missed on the fishing reel.
While the Penn International may be "iconic", it does not hold a candle to the Penn Senator reels. Still made, still used, and have caught thousands more big game fish than the Internationals have.

Of course their "made in the USA" (originally and at present) requirement also eliminates iconic knives like the Opinel, Mora, SAK, MAM, Mercator ...
