A friend in the Buck forum suggested I share my latest project here.

I hand milled the bolsters, added some pivot bushings, Titanium screws, dark red Micarta (like that used on the Buck 100 series fixed blades) under tight weave Carbon Fiber, and a Vintage BG-42 blade signed by C.J. Buck

Thanks for looking!

That is the very best GAW to date!!!:thumbup::thumbup: I'm in, Door #2, and I'll take lucky #7.

What?

As for the knife it looks like you did a great job. The 110 looks a little odd with screws, but that probably because I'm not used to it.

Is that good or bad??

I'm now doing one with Bucks Maccassar Ebony, a 50th Anniversary blade and factory NS inlay pins. It looks very much like the 1988 25th Anniversary NS.

I think I like this design the most of the 3. Maybe a blue anodized with blue Carbon fiber next....
Thoughts?

Can you make one with pins only to recreate the clean look of the original, just with titanium?

Not looking to buy one, just thinking it would look nice.
