A good effort. The drop point blade looks to be a 426 blade, Buck's first. It is shorter than the std. clip blade. I've seen in the 85 catalog stated those blades to be 3 5/8". I owned one and that's what it measured.
The nickel silver frame and spacer (a twin blade frame) is a good choice and offers a good feel in the hand. DM
