I just wanted to let anyone know that is looking for one of these how sweet it actually is.Ive been using mine daily for everything I need to cut,and this thing is a tank,I've only stropped the edge so far and it pops back to razor sharp in no time.I have a lot of 110 models with all kinds of top end steel and this one is 154 cm,which I like very much .

I've used the knife enough to say it is very well built and no issues of any kind, blade centres, lock up is bank vault tight, walk n talk is that of a custom.

My new hunting knife for a few years to come ,if anyone wants one Id say grab it up,and enjoy!

I must agree, the Fox is a great one!

yep.....but with cpm-154 though which is a particle steel 154cm and really just is better. i find it touches up easier than 154cm and holds an edge just a hair longer. it really is an impressive steel for cutlery. plus buck does top notch heat treat on it. it's one of my favorite steels buck uses currently.

I have a gentleman version and it's a steal for the materials and high grade steel. skblades pricing on these models is a true bargin.

we all want what we want but I wouldnt be upset if buck used cpm-154 in more models.

They have the Red One from SKblades... The Smoke Jumper....Depends on who looks at it, it's either Red or Orange, I say Red....

glad to hear it's such a great blade! i look forward to getting the 112 version one day. hopefully in clip point.

I was considering That one but went for the Silver Fox 20cv blade and Burlap Micarta. It is a sweet knife. That orange g10 is purty and probably a lot easier to find if you drop it out in the field. Thanks for sharing your knife review.

The silver fox looks good too, what are your thoughts on that blade steel?
So far I really like it. I first bought the Maverick Vantage Pro with the 20cv blade and it’s my main edc knife. I’ve used it quite a bit and holds an edge for a long time and I’ve only had to just touch up the edge one time and strop it a few times. I haven’t had a chance to use the Silver Fox as much yet just a few test cuts on some Osage orange and whittle some mulberry sticks. It seems to be every bit as good as the Vantage. I will be using it a lot more when warmer weather comes when going camping and fishing mostly.

Wow,I like the mod you did with the lanyard hole spacer, gives the knife a custom look and that is handy.
