Buck 110 Purple Blade Maple Burl questions

I'm unclear on this 110 I recently received. Date code is 2001. Tang stamped are BUCK; 110 (sq. bracket pointing down); U.S.A. Maple burl scales and red liners. Very nice looking knife, solid vertical lock with the slightest side play. The blade looks like Ion Fusion - it is a nice purple/champagne color, but it is sharpened on both sides. It appears to be a new factory edge. The blotchiness on the blade is just bad lighting, the color is very uniform. It appears to be factory mint. I thought the Ion Fusion was sharpened one side only for the performance of the coating material right on the edge. I've googled this in a number of ways, but I was hoping someone might shed some light on what is a mystery to me. Did Buck make a two-side sharpened purple coated blade? Is this a mint factory knife? Was it returned to Buck and re-sharpened? Or third party sharpened? Thanks.



 
Build Out description: MODEL# 0110BO-14 BOX PINK ION-FUSION BLADE, WALNUT INLAY, BRASS BOLSTERS, LEATHER SHEATH 36 MADE
Buck sharpened both side of the blades on these at the factory, why I do not know. I have a several ION Fusion coated build out 110s all were sharpened on both side.

 
Thank you Badhammer. The black & yellow box it came in was dated 08/18/2012. Item 0110B017-B, just a couple numbers off from the 110 in that link. I thought the knife just ended up in a mis-matched box. So the knife was built in 2012 using a blade from 2001. Wonder why the blade wasn't left sharpened one-side?

Here is the description for a 110BO-17
0110BO-17 BOX SATIN FINISHED BLADE, ELK HANDLE, BRASS BOLSTERS, LEATHER SHEATH 17 made.
So it is in the wrong box.
 
Thanks bucktool. Ah well, conversation piece. Maybe a person with the elk handle model has my box, will see this and we make it right? :-) Mine is colored much like the one you pictured. It is very blue-ish pink - it looks purple or champagne to me. Thanks for schooling all!
 
I also think the blade looks more purple than pink. Correct box or not you still have a very desirable build out 110.
