My question is how is the Buck 110 quality overall?, i know i can take it back if i'm not satisfied but hate doing so. I purchased 4 Buck Canoe's and 2 deuce's recently and one Canoe had very slight pen blade movement and one deuce had a small liner gap but overall good fit and finish. Thanks for any help as I am trying to get my collection going as my 11 year old is really into knives. thanks again.

A few weeks ago I got to inspect one at our local Walmart from the display case. It was very good overall, probably as good as they get. It was priced at 36 and some change. But it didn’t have a box or sheath. Just the knife and it was their last one until a new shipment came just before Christmas. I would have to take it as is. The newer ones were going to be $60. I passed on it not sure how much I’d have to pay for a new sheath shipped to me. Probably should have got it anyway.

My wife and I were out today at a local Walmart. They had a Buck 110 priced at $36USD. I don't "need " another knife, but it's very tempting to go back tomorrow and get it. The quality of the knives is very good, especially for the price.

Also I thought I would ask about the 110 LT, is it too overall a solid knife as it's on sale too for well under $20. Thanks

I purchased several 110s last year and I kept two, with the rest being gifts for other. The build and finish quality were high on all of them. The only less than positive issue was that one of mine had a lot or residue from the polishing in it. It took a while to clean that out. Otherwise, they were all really nice with symmetrical grinds, etc. The two I have were very, very sharp out of the box and one had a point so pointy that I accidentally drew my own blood a few times with it (the point is a little worn now, but still pointy). In fact, they were easily the sharpest non-Spyderco knives I've ever acquired.

Another great choice! The blades are the same as the standard 110 and the synthetic frame/handle feels the same, just lighter. I've also found that the 110 LTs tend to me easier to open/close than the standard 110s with a thumb stud added.

The Buck 110 is a knife that can be had for between $35 and $60, can be ordered or picked up at almost any sporting goods store, and is as solid as a tank. The fit and finish of every new one I’ve purchased has been top notch for a knife of that value, and I’ve beaten up my fair share of them and they keep going. Aesthetically, I prefer the look of the dymondwood scales on the modern knives and ebony on the older models, but that’s just me.

The Buck 110 is a great knife with overall very good quality, made in post falls Idaho USA.
Those slipjoints are cheap budget knives made in China for Buck and not actually by them, unless they actually own a factory there and I just don't know it.

Well I hope to get it soon but right now I can't as it went up to $60+tax. My son got sick and I wasn't able to go get it and now the price has increased. Hope it comes back down soon and I can get it and maybe the 110 LT after that. thanks.

You might be able to score one on the auction site. Looks like most of them on there now are used, though.

Every buck... benchmade... spyderco folder I pick up has bladeplay 😢
If they didn’t have any free play they would be friction folders. They have to have some air gap to not bind up. As long as they lock up solid that’s all that matters. It really gets me when someone complains about blade play with the blade in closed position. Wth? That has nothing to do with performance or functionality. Especially with production models. If it were a $600 custom it might have very close tolerances but they still have to hash some air gap to not bind!
