Well I was fortunate enough to come up on a Buck *110*. It is mint in the box with all the inserts and tissue paper. It has a one piece box and according to the 110 sticky, it is a 7th version. I'm not a 110 guy, although I have several (20 or so). I have done the searches on the auction sites but couldn't find one similar to compare it to. The Big question, what's it worth.

I bought four of them, nib with all the stuff. They didn't appear to have ever been unwrapped or opened. That was a year or so ago and if I recall correctly I paid $65 each delivered.

Thanks Dave, was that a price you jumped on right away or was it a price you had to consider before buying?

I found the CC statement and it was in Dec. 2010. The price was actually $65.50 each delivered. I seem to recall negotiating with the seller on the shipping, so I didn't just leap on them.

Nib loaded, I think thats a price to look for. The 7th variation seems to be the most common in the bay. I think you could pay more without feeling like a dupe but may also steal one for less if you get lucky.

Haa, you'd have to get real lucky. Plumber, is purchasing the entire package, box, paperwork and all. DM

I just located another one, nib papers and all and I'd stuck the PayPal receipt in the box. It was $55 + $5 shipping. July of 2011.

I've got 4 ,all from da bay,at the time they were going for quite a bit more than the going price now,$100 plus is what i paid for some of mine, all mint in the box with all paperwork .The sheath you have there is my favorite 110 leather sheath out there,i sure wish that sheath was still being made today.

WOW, $100+ is more than I figured they would go for now or then. Dave seems to get the deals.

Armand had found a guy down in SO Cal that had a storage unit full of Buck knives. These were new old stock that his Mom & Dad or could have even been his Grandparents had (they used to sell knives). The guy had offered all the Buck knives in the unit to Armand for $5,000. But, could not tell Armand how many knives or what models were in there (risky deal). Armand was trying to get someone to go in on the buy with no luck. Then the guy started to sell these knives on his own on ebay.....at first these were bringing in big $$$ per knife. However, he flooded the market and soon the demand and the $ went down. We are still seeing these knives for sale and the lower value still stands.

I wish I would have went in on the deal with Armand, there must have been a few hundred knives in that unit:eek:. When the guy started to sell some NIB 124's from that unit my heart sank.....woulda, coulda, shoulda....LOL. Any way that is why the price on those went to $60-$65 per knife NIB.

That's the same guy that I got mine from John and I'm pretty sure that's where I got my nib 124. Armand and I had also discussed the deal he was offered.
