Nice knife gary 007... I like the file work. How does the Ram's horn
feel in the hand?

Glad that you like it. I don't a FG 110 yet.:grumpy: Are you happy
with that part? The scales look wider in the middle in
the pic.

ark does pretty good work. I just picked up a 110 tonight, brand new at an auction a 90's model but no finger grooves, I'm planning something unique for this one :)

Gary007,

Don't leave that new 110 to close to your other Buck's it may try to but heads with them!!!! Very nice 110....who did the work for you?

Is that one of Arksknives conversions??? I am thinking he did the finger grooves as well...most (if not all) of the custom Shop FGs do not extend into the bolsters (except the very old ones)...

I like them to extend into the bolsters...and I like the rough, squared-off look of this particular set of scales... ;)

looks factory to me, this isn't a custom shop knife we're talking about here ;)

nice work! I like that jigged buffalo horn.

I'm curious about the whole process of putting in new handles. Is it quite a task? I do wonder how you cut the handles so precisely.

Yes, I do all of my own work, some of it can be seen here, I do work for others too, I'm always open for buisness.

http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/muskratcustoms you'll have to click on the image gallery at the left toolbar, excuse all the slingshots, another one of my hobbies.

Thank You, It's not an easy job, but nuts like me actually enjoy it :p. Cutting the handles is one of the hard parts, like the old saying" go slow-you can always take off a little more-but you can't put it back!" But it can't be too long or it won't fit or it will put the knife in a bind, if they are too short-well,it looks like crap. depending on whether you put rivits back in or not also helps determine how time consuming it is and adds greater difficulty, I have a couple plans for rivited scales, just need to pick up some donor knives and find myself some extra time :D
All the best
MM
P.S Not sure if you knew or not (others have overlooked it in the past) you can click on each picture for a larger view and a description of the knife.

Nice 110 Gary007. I think rams horn is my favorite handle material. Nice added touch with the red liners.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! I do all the work myself including the fingergrooving. I do a lot of custom work for people and really enjoy doing it. I go all out to make sure they are the best fit and finish that I can possibly do. Again, thanks for the positive comments and I would love to do some custom work for any of you that may be interested.
