Buck 110 Repair Same Steel change to Drop Point?

I understand I can’t change steel types for repair work. Can I change a 110 to a drop point? Blade has an ugly reprofile from a broken tip.

Are you asking if they can reprofile the existing blade if you send her in? Or swap the blade for a factory made drop point?

Swap it out, with a new blade, I know I’ll have to buy new one. Needs new scales and want to replace them with something different, just to try it.

Call Buck's customer service and ask. I think the answer will be no. They will replace a blade with one like the original, the same with scales or anything that falls under warranty work. Don't think they will do anything just to make it different(custom).
