Buck 110 rubber handle

What's the story on the Rubber Ducky 110, Dave??? Is Buck going to do it???

(Maybe with replaceable scales???) :p

I still want a rubber buck 110 with BG42 and/or S30V!! Checkered for even better griping.

You gripe enough already. :grumpy:

I'd rather have it lined, for better gripping...and an embossed Buck logo on each side... ;)

up date:
i got my box from idaho with the new alpha scales .. the set i had were missing a screw or two..
the rubber bucky lives ! Joe took it to David V for his review and test with the print out of the comments ...
Pete has an idea for fastening replaceable scales using existing castings of the 110 also!!
emails to buck mean a lot!

i dont have a pict of the orgional but there are several in the old thread..

wow some else likes the new logo also?! they tried it several ways ya know...
humm nickel on one side and brass on the other?***?
sounds like some thing right up trax's ally!!! :);)
i like the idea of the golden eye my self!!! or a silver white eye!
raised pins pinged over like the old pumas!!!
now we is talking!!

Gripe, grip, whatever....lol.... Checkered, lined, whatever works best.

Buck just needs to get er done..

Joe needs to be a VP...

well it looks better in that pict then i recall it looking..
it was intended as a way to help me use a knife right handed again.
my thumb was half cut off and is now frozen at the frist joint
so it is hard to grip a reg 110 now and hard edges hurt.
this worked so well and my father in law tryed it on his deer and praised it highly.
so i sent it around for field testing...
the knife is now going to David V. VP of marketing along with print outs of the
"field testers" cross the country..
it was inspired by Joes's comment on that the alpha grips provided a soft sure grip on that knife.
i will be starting on a 2ed one for you caine and will try to make it look better then the first! what you dont see is that it has some slight roughing were it is trimmed to fit the frame.

When I had it it was used to dressout a few big fish and chopup bait...Slimy with fish guts it felt totaly secure in my hand.

...Clint's right...That was one of the best "feeling" 110's in hand that I've used. Never a second of fearing slippage no matter how wet or slimy my hands were...

Caine-if buck dont make it some one else will for dang sure!
jest hang around long enough and
some one like painted pony will do a knock off of that knife for you..
