i really like the design of the buck 110 and other buck folding hunters but i really dislike lockbacks and i was wondering if there is any manual opening version of the buck hunter with an alternative lock-style that is cali-legal

Not exactly a Buck 110 but similar overall shape and with a modern axis lock.

Queen makes a nice single blade folder that doesn't lock, look for the #3 pattern, but not the #3L which is the same knife with a lock.

I've handled that model, 13100 Hardtail, and I can vouch for its attractiveness as a knife that I would carry, use and covet. Find them at your Harley Motorcycle Dealer.

I understand that the Harley/Benchmade product line will, at some future point, be vended thru discounters/knife dealers where you can expect a lower price than the bike shops vend them for now. However, I am tempted at their price. ON MY LIST so don't buy them all ColonelX.

Pardon me while I go swing a large chain around in a violent manner.
