If you haven't already, look at the revised 110/112 data sheet as of --->5/1/08 thread at the top of this subforum and open the PDF. Page down a bit until you find '5th Version'. You'll find that the 2 dot 110 is part of a number of big transitions for the 110, and that there are several distinct variations of the 2 dot 110.
The 2 dot knives are common, they're great knives nonetheless. The three dot knives are fairly rare, and the four dot knives are common. Then you get into the knives with annual date codes on them.
