Hi,
I sent a old version 3 var. 7 into Buck, it had lost another inlay rivet, the first one was lost years ago and they replaced it with a big inlay rivet it was as large or larger than the rocker rivet. This time Buck replaced all but one inlay rivet, they used the correct size, one inlay had a big hole where they had replaced a inlay rivet years ago with a very big one, they also replaced a light brown ebony inlay with a match and gave the knife I guess a spa treatment, they sent a letter stating that I got the last inlay they had in that color, the knife looks like new or better, I'm glad it had a full blade. Buck must be doing much better than 15 years ago, there was no charge, I don't think any other knife company treats their customers better, maybe Cutco. I'll post a picture of it when I get time I think I lost my before picture when my PC went dead, I may have it on the big PC if I had it networked.
George God bless
