My first post on any site ever. Forgive my mistakes. I have just recently became a Buck 110 knife collector by mistake. It started when I bought a 110 with a broken blade at a yard sale for a couple of dollars. Then I started reading this forum and discovered that there is a wealth of knowledge here. And that I can have a new blade put on my knife for $10.00 from buck. Apparently I am on a mission to save every broken 110 on the planet now LOL. I bought a bundle of 5 knives on the bay 3 broke and 2 in great shape. One of those two is a double dash 110. That one -- has sent me on my quest for knowledge and I have printed out a whole 3 ring binder of intell on it. As of this writing I have a like new - and a like new -- I still dont know which one is rarer. But as of today I have another -- on the way to my house and I am watching 4 more on the bay.Which I dont plan on buying. I have come to the conclusion that the single dash is rarer then the double. I just need the facts to prove it rather then my observations.

There are a lot of knowledgeable people in this sub-forum who know Buck Knives well; however, there are so many more in the Manufactures "Buck" sub-forum. I think you'll get much more help there about all things Buck.

Thanks for the lead. I am new to all this forum stuff I still use a compass and everybody else has a gps. Lol

Let's try moving this to the Buck forum. I'll leave a link here so the Traditional folks can check it out also.

Thank you. I didnt have either one of those post. I will print them out and add them to my growing binder of research.

Welcome Tanker1/66. Go ahead and get a big binder to store on the printed info and a couple of chests/cabinets to store all your future bucks:)

Just got back from the kids spring concert. Thanks for the welcome. I hope this obession doesnt interfere with my pheasant hunting. Only have enough funds for one. Lol I guess Buck knives can be my summer disease.
