I recently got the opportunity to buy some really rare TRUE black Jade from the personal collection of a Jade dealer. This Jade is very fine grained and takes a mirror polish. If you look carfully, You can see the black polished point reflected in the black scale of the knife. This black Jade has a few "snowflakes" scattered in it that are quartz crystals and are unusual in jade.

The Jade is Edwards Black Jade from Wyoming.

Beautiful. Very classy. Very elegant. Very formal.

If I ever wore a tuxedo......that would be the matching knife.

:)
