Another fun project . Mapped out on CNC for profiling the best location to reduce weak spots around the holes. Once cut most of the way through, the rest was done by hand.

That's a big piece of campo del cielo. I only have one piece of it, and it isn't big enough to use for a knife frame or knife scales. Did you consider etching it?
 
I did try and etch it several times but I didn't like how dull it was. Also the copper in the brass washes into the surface making it almost impossible to etch consistently. I was afraid it might crumble, so the liner was glued before final shaping and drilling.
