Yesterday, I finished this custom Buck 110 for a member here at Bladeforums. He did the filework and then sent the knife to me for the stoneworks. He chose a very rare red Leopard Skin Jasper for the scales so the knife is fully his design.

This is one of those rare knives that makes me say "Whoa!" when I see it.

A knife like that doesn't need a sheath it needs a glass case to keep it in. Thats a show piece not a carrier

This knife would easily stand up to EDC. The only thing that would be a problem is a drop onto a hard surface such as concrete and even that is not usually a disaster as the knives such as this tend to land on their bolsters.

now that i can afford almost any knife i want , i 'm still reluctant to EDC some knives that are "too nice ". oh well. paul

I intend to make a belt case for it out of deerskin dyed dark brown with padded snaps, so they won't scratch the surface. But I usually carry a knife for a while and then switch. I'll carry this one for a lot longer time than most. The case that came with this Buck was made in Pakistan and a little "coarse" for my tastes.

The only thing to say is WOW!

There are 110's and there are 110's, and then there is that 110, great job, great looking knife.
