Buck 110 with S30v and G10

Thanks for posting, I checked it out. It's listed at $138. You could do a S30V blade custom ordered thru the BUCK website for less. Only difference is that G10 isn't offered as an option. I liked the dropped point blade on the tactical 110 offered to BCCI about a year or so ago. In hindsight I wish I had ordered one of those.

Yeah, I thought it was a little more than I wanted to pay for G10 when the same knife with several wood options from Buck would run $80 or less.
 
Wish they used the nickel bolsters instead of brass on that one....

Has there ever been a 110 with carbon fiber scales?

Yes. I've seen them with the BG-42 blade, carbon fiber scales and Designers Choice stamped on the blade but I don't really know anything about them other than I'd like to have one. On second thought I presume the ones I've seen were made by Buck because I have seen some that were modified after the fact. Hopefully another member can correct me if I'm wrong.
