Hello guys! My first post here:)
I'm from Italy, and my english is so poor, so please excuse me for some syntactic errors...
Well, the question: I have found here in Italy a shop with a couple of old Buck 110 with white handles, Corian. They are from '90 american made/production. The price is 80 euro, so around 94$. What do you think about? It's a good choice?

The actual date code is 1992.It's good that you found such an old knife.I don't see those very often. It would be better if the dealer had the original sheath. As far as the price is concerned,it seems fair given your location.

PS: Your English is fine.

Howdy Manxxx, and welcome. Mia madre è nata in Italia.

Looks like january, 1992, and not much more than you'd pay here.

Get an nice open sheath and you'd be good to go.

Original leather Buck sheaths for a 110 are $15-$20 to the US on Amazon, or you could try buying directly from Buck website.

They have 110's on Amazon right now in white for $69.99, I know you probably can't get it where you live, just saying that the white G-10 version is available today.

Well, Manxxx talked about the white corian handled Buck knife, not the G10. The corian 112 are rare stuff. I bought one in Italy and it comes with the wrong sheath also and a pretty looking home made Box. But the knife is great. Made in the early nineties. Thank you.

The speckled ones in post 8 & 9 Buck had some in 2008. That's the type I was recalling. DM

David, did Buck offer some of the gay corian in 2008 or did they sell them during the 20th anniversary meeteing? I coldn't find any hint buck offered corian scaled knifes in 2008. What do you know?

Haebbie

As I understood especially the gray Corian scaled knives have been made for the European (German?) market. They have been ordered by Herbertz, the German distributor of Buck Knives. But I don't know for sure. May be Buck offered an overrun during the celebrations. David, do you know if the offered knives had a 2008 marked blade?

I had a gray Corian 112 NIB and all the paperwork was printed in German. It was the only Buck I've seen like it.

Bucks made for overseas sales had lots of options. .Drop point 112's for instance. Haebbie if I go to the 30th I'll bring a big boomer in case there's a range nearby or a place to shoot safety. Bucks made for overseas sell at a high price point. Are you going to bring a few knives to trade?
