I have an 'old' Buck 110 i'im not sure of the year so I will describe it I got it from a friend in early 70' it has three rivets on scales on the blade is BUCK under which is usa no 110 or dots and the BUCK usa is inverted any suggestions

Welcome to Bladeforums Frank!!

The Third version, variation 3 from 1967/68 is the first one with Buck and USA inverted and they added 110 to the blade in 1972 so I would guess yours is between 67 & 72. If you can post photos I'm sure our members can narrow it for you much closer than I.

Badhammer; how do I download pics I hit the "insert image" but I;m used to seeing "browse" then I access my pics and the the site usually does the rest

imafritz; I am all for the fritz I just used it on my 110 and what o job it does with a little elbow grease will post pics as soon as I find out how to on here

On this site, for us regular members, we have to host the photo somewhere like photobucket.
then on photobucket, select the "img" link, copy it, then paste it into your post.

Hey Frank, Does yours look exactly like this one of mine? If it is different then how is it different?

BTW, all three pins, 2 scale pins and 1 lock bar pin, are made of brass.

To post a photo: Sign up with a photo hosting service, I use ImageShack, take you photo and save as onto your desktop where it is easily seen and located, from the hosting site upload the photo to the hosting service, copy the forum link given by the hosting service and paste it directly into the body of your forum post.

Alternatively, paste your photo into an email sent to me, you'll find my email by clicking on my avatar in the upper left corner of this post and it shows a Buck Marksman 830, and I will post it for you.

Oregon I must be a complete idiot I just can't seem to be able to import any photo even to your email I joined photo bucket the other day and all my knife pics are in there does that help you any

frank, For now just send it to Oregon and allow him to post it. As posting photos is a PAIN. The steps are more than a mere 2 sentences. I had to go over and over the process to get it. Once the steps are followed to a 'T' a few times the process gets better/easier. But until then... DM

To send me a photo: Hover your cursor over one photo and right click "copy" then hover your cursor over the body of the email to me and right click "paste" and the photo should appear onto the body of the email.

To post a photo from photobucket:

1. sign into photobucket
2. got to "view library"
3. right click on one photo
4. left click on "copy link"
5. left click on "image" under heading "links to share this photo" over on the right side of your screen
6. paste into body of forum post by right click and chose "paste"

I just followed the above procedure to post the below photo from my old photobucket account:

Somebody's got to get this right. Because I do not do it the manner Oregon just outlined. So, perhaps the videos will help. DM
