Does anyone know if there is a spot on the
rear bolster of the 110 to drill a lanyard hole. I'm having a knife made at the buck
custom shop.I had no idea they had a custom
shop until I found this group. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jeffrey, welcome to the forums!

To answer your question, no, the 110 cannot be drilled for a lanyard hole without damaging the knife and voiding the warranty.

I'm sure you'll really like your 110 from PCKS, mine have all been beautifully crafted.

Take care,

Thanks for the info Dave. I just ordered the knife, so I assume it will be about six weeks. The fellow at Buck said the Custom shop will not open until Tuesday of next week. I do however look forward to constructing several more.My order sheet states " If you wish to see how your knife is progressing, you may check the order status page" Any idea where that might be located.
I thank you for your time. Jeff

Glad to help, Jeffrey.

As far as I know, the order status feature does not work. But it may in the near future as Buck is revamping their web pages as we speak.

Yep, I'd set my sights on six weeks for delivery. That way, if you get your knife in four, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Hi Jeff

Welcome to the Buck Forum !

I agree about the lanyard hole in a standard 110- just is no place to put it without some major rework. If you saw one after it had been taken apart you would see that there is no room for it because of the locking spring and the hardened rear spacer. If you drill below the spacer the lanyard is cut when the blade is closed
