I have two 110's one says 110c, the other says 110+. What is the differance and what one is better?thanks and Merry Chritsmas

Welcome to blade forums, those symbols after the "110" represent the year the knife was made.

The "110C" was made in 1995.

The "110+" was made in 1991.

Both are the same as a current production knife, the blades are 420HC steel so one wouldn't really be better than the other.

This link will take you to the Buck dating chart.

They are the same knife with same steel. The only thing different is the year they were made. do a search in the buck forum for dates and you will find out how to date them. Merry Christmas John

Amen!

This is a great forum, even compared to the rest of BladeForums.com. The people here are all friendly and helpful and genuinely interested in helping newbs like me!

A lot of other places, if you ask a question that's been asked, you get the "Hey, idiot! Use the search function!" Here we see far more gracious replies, even when the gist is "search for ____."

I like it here. I wish I'd spent more time here over the last couple of years. The regulars are cool. Joe Houser is very cool, as he has been since he started answering all of our questions back on the days of rec.knives!

And, we get to embrace all that is Buck. Some people are just now learning about Bucks, and some are returning to the fold (like me!). Everyone is welcomed!

Did I mention that I like it here?
