I havn't had one of these for about 25 years. I think it's time to get me one. I saw some a Acadamy a whlie back. Are they just as good at Acadamy as they are everywhere, or should I make my purchase elsewhere? Where are they made now? Quality? Fit and finish? Steel? Good heat treat? My current "go to" knives are three Barkies in A2, one Barkie in 12c27 and a Case CV. I love these steels! What are your opinions? It will be put to work. No safe Queens here! I want a good, quality knife. Thank you all in advance for your comments and advice. M

Buck 110's are still made here in the USA.

Good steel, with a heat treat that makes is a solid every day user, and fit and finish is amazing for the price.

You can also have a 110 custom made for you by Buck, with your choice of steel and handle scales.
If you're interested, you can go to www.buckknives.com and click on "Build a Buck Custom Knife".

Also, there are limited editions of the 110 available from a few selected retailers, such as Cabela's.

I can't think of a better Father's Day gift than a standard Buck 110. Unless it is a Custom Shop Sambar Stag 110;)
