That is a really good price but I can top it. About a month ago a local Sporting Goods store ran them on sale for $29.99 boxed with a leather sheath.

PS When the moderator shows up you're going to get your knuckles slapped. Forum rules forbid deal spotting.
 
Sorry, I did not know. Is it OK to say it if no price is mentioned?

Edit - I can't find the rules, where are they? I am sure I read them when I joined but I missed this one...

I suspect it's the other way around, you can say how much but not who....
Not a rule I agree with but the forum is a privately owned playground so we need to respect it.
My feeling is that if the Manufacturer is a forum member, everyplace that manufacturer sells its product should be covered....
 
Yeah, I'm totally willing to abide by the rules, I didn't know this rule.

It actually gets me really irritated when someone refuses to abide by a forum's rules and whines about "Free speech." Freedom of speech is a limit on the power of the Government, not private parties.
 
Think of it this way,BUCK KNIVES made a rule that dealers were NOT to sell them for less than $39.95,(List Price is $72), Menards is BREAKING the rules, but you
can bet they won't be cut off like a small dealer would...lol
 
Pondoro, buddy, to remove the title of this dreaded thread: go to edit then to advanced. You will see it. Change the title to "Buck Rhymes With Luck" or something sweet. BTW, turn on your email and you can receive back channel banter and offers to buy you 1/2 of a beer and other such stuff.
 
Do I have to be a Gold Member to have email? I went to "About Me" on my profile and the "Contact" info did not seem to be editable. The 1/2 beer is really tempting.
 
Well, I can blink you off the screen but lets use this for others education. Yes, if I had just read it I would have frozen and deleted this thread. You can't connect price with company. You could say boy I just got a nice 110 from So and So's at a good price, really happy with it. That would be Ok. If we were talking prices in general, and it was about the past, you could say I once got a 110 for $1.00 from a Canadian store best deal I every saw. Just no prices with direct names during current selling.

Somewhere they talk about these rules, up in the top two lines , under the BladeForum title. And I believe you are correct that you have to be a paying member to get all the inhouse and outbound communication privledges.

EVERYONE ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT - When ever you post something, no matter the individual forum, it shows up in a new posts forum area for every person on the BladeForums to read. So if you get a wild post from someone you have never seen it could be someone who reads that forum not the Buck forum. Or someone trolling to stir up something.

Lets call this one done.
