Hi guys,
I saw a knife that looks like a 112 ranger exept it has nickel silver bolsters that are kind of curved. Does anyone know anything about it? It isn't on the buck website for some reason. I always thought that the buck 110 was to big and I don't like brass bolsters that much so this seems perfect.

I can get it for $35, should I?

The Model 111 is the same size as the 110, so if this is smaller than a 110, it is most likely a Model 55 (half the size of the 110). If it's mint, $35 is a reasonable price IMHO.

yep- i would give 35 for it ... you should too!

3wolves, I think I'm holding the same knife in my hand as we speak (type), and mine's a Model 111 not a 55. When I enlarge your photo I think I can see 111 on the blade......beautiful knife and I paid more than $35.00......BUY IT.........Mike

Hmmm, I thought that the blade length was three and a one third inches, can someone give me the exact specs please. Pics would be nice. I used to own a 110 but it was stolen from me, I liked it alot but found it too big for pocket carry. I would carry it in a sheath but thats where I have my swisstool.:o
And why don't I see this on other knife websites like new graham? Is it discontinued or something?

Thanks.

From the Buck Catalog:
111: Length - 4 7/8 Closed; Blade - 3 3/4 (Exact same as 110)
55: Length - 3 3/8; Blade - Blade - 2 3/8

3wolves,
When I just looked at the properties behind your photo it is labeled as a Buck 111: buck_111_classic_knife.jpg

Check out the Prince on the Buck website, it's got nickel silver bolsters and a 2.5" blade.....

I have the exact knife and paid $35+$7s&h and its a real peach. So I had to get this one in Desert Iron wood and mirror finish (on the way as we speak.)

Buy IT!!!
