Buck 112 automatic conversion

I got a buck 112 auto conversion a little while back. It is the one with the oblong release and is single action (auto only) and happens to have charcoal black wood scales, and nickel silver bolsters etc. I have been unable to find out who did the conversion and if it is even possible to get another from that person or if you have to go throuhg one of the online dealers. I'm not a big fan of buying on line simply because of the horror stories on GB&U here on BF. Any contact information would be greatly appreciated.

Am I correct in being able to tell whether an auto converstion is a single or double action in that the single action has the little detent area in the blade tang whereas the double action has a notch in that area? Or is it the other way around?
