When Buck started the production of the 112 the knife has a two line stamp. This refers to the version 1, variation 1 and 2. the second version has a three line tip up stamp. Did Buck ever make a 112 v2 v1 with an inverted stamp as they did it with the 110?
I don’t think so, but what do I know?

No Habbie not that I have seen..I did recently see a 3 line MICARTA with small pins..that should have been wood. Since production numbers for the 112 are small compared to the 110 in that era there are less variations.

Thank you, Clint. It is curious why Buck did not use the inverted three line stamp as they did with the 110.

Haebbie, the 2nd Version is stamped with a 3 line and read up right. It should have micarta handles. Some versions are skipped with the 112. DM

JB. yes, that's the manner the stamp went. You are still lucky to get the middle knife. And he didn't do a bad job...DM

Thank you guys. So the search for the inverted three line 112 is like the search for a Jeti or a Bigfoot. I’mgoing on looking. They are out there :confused::D
