I've been attempting to research this particular 112 but I can't find any solid information about it.

I see that these Open Season 110's and 112's were Smoky Mountain Knife Works Exclusives. That makes perfect sense but I can't find any background on this black handled nickel silver framed 112 model of mine.

Can anyone tell me, is mine also a SMKW Exclusive or was this a separate run that Buck did?

Thanks for any help you folks can provide.

From my memory they offered two versions of the black scales. One with the coated blade and the other was uncoated but etched. Here are the two listings I saved:

Jeff, thank you so much for responding. I see that the uncoated etched 110 is a First Production Run from 2019. My 112 also has the 2019 date stamp. There must have been some 112 models in that First Production Run also. I assume that my 112 is from one of the runs that followed.

I've never seen the 112 with the 'First Production Run' blade etch..I look for oddballs like that. I have the 2 prototype Open Season 112's but not at my house yet so no pics by me..

For some reason it posted very fuzzy and out of focus. I decided to use it for my avatar and it worked much better.

Worked great for me too, upon clicking on the picture it both enlarges and comes to sharp focus. Nice Knives! OH

I passed on that first 110 with the billboard thinking I would get #501 or higher without... never happened and I missed out. I have the others.

Since this thread started I have been looking hard for the Green handle 112 with the billboard etch since I really like to display only odd one's
..I have looked for 112's that never existed before..I looked for a Master Series 112 from 2007 to 2009..
