I am looking to add a Buck 112 Ram's Horn to my collection. I browsed the forum and read there has been a limited run of 112's in Brass with 3-dot blades in the past. However I like one with NS bolsters. Have these ever been made in runs? Or were they just ordered by very few people during the 112 run of the Custom Shop? I managed to find one single picture of an awesome looking one on the forum.
In that case finding one will be very hard I guess! :jerkit:

Maybe I should opt for the 112 in Brass if it comes around or a 110 Ram's Horn Custom shop in S30V instead.

Hi skinnybones,

I was lucky to have a 112 made in NS with FG Rams Horn from the short run in the CS. The brass Rams Horns were also a short run and hard to come by. You should find a 112 in NS with wood scales and have them replaced with Rams Horn, you will have a custom 112 to fit your needs.

John, Yes thats the manner to obtain one. FInd a good one with Macassar Ebony with a good full 3 dot blade and have the wood handles replaced with rams horn. DM
Here's a photo of one.

Thanks for the info! I really love the one at the top in NS!
How would you refer to the the look of the scales? Gnarly like with stag or grooved as opposed to smooth?

I would call it grooved. Anyone familiar with sheep horn scales would know what your talking about. DM

Verrrrry nice 112's! There are a few members here that can/will make you what you want...Leroy can too..
