What is the version & variant of this 112?
9-8-73 purchase date shown on registration paper.
This knife was pocket carried, used, and sharpened by my father.
The sheath was never used.

I'm no expert but that looks like a Category 1 Version 1 May 1972.The middle photo looks like the spring holder is brass, the stamp ,and Micarta handle inlays.

They even got the the 2 nicks out of the blade near the tip and cleaned up the point. Good going. DM

I would label them a good suburban knife. Not intimidating at a grocery store or restaurant. It will cut up your lunch apple, summer sausage
a heater hose or card board boxes. Using it, this model is capable of covering a lot of cutting needs. DM
