Looking at the technical specs, the 112 is the better knife.
But more and more I find myself reaching for the 715.

The 112 has the superior blade steel for sure.
The G-10 is probably slightly better than the aluminum scales, although, in a knife this size it's probably moot.
Blade shape is subjective.
Thumb-stud vs thumb-hole (I find the hole easier to open).
But the handles....

The 715 fits my hand perfectly.

Does anyone else have both of these knives, and if so, what do you think?

Those are nice knives.
I carried one of those for quite a while....then started carried other things.
I liked it enough I placed it my truck. It has lots of miles on it :)

I don't believe they are available anymore.
Similar to a Sprint. Another underappreciated knife.

I have couple i got from walmart I think it was. I like them. dont carry often as I tend to carry a bigger folder, but its not a bad knife. good overall size for many tasks. I lean towards 110 size for carrying and using, so don't own any 112 slims.

If you really like the blade it might be possible to put it in a 112 frame. Im sure the blade geometry is not good but Custom makers like Leroy or Joe Houser are true miracle workers.

No. The 715 handle is much more comfortable than the 112 slim pro handle.
