Buck 112 Slim Trx torx question

Hello,

I have a Buck 112 Slim Trx and am wondering what is the advantage of the torx screws? I guess they are OK, but I don't understand why they are supposedly better than regular screws?

More torque can be applied before damaging the screw head or driver bit. So a smaller screw head can be used and still get the need amount of torque for the application.
