Good morning!
I was looking at knives that I have collected over the years and found a Buck 112 with finger grooves NIB. The interesting thing, is there is a bronze colored Air Force emblem, about the size of a quarter on the sheath. Ive googled it and cant find one like it anywhere! Has anyone seen one like it or can you tell me anything about it? Year of manufacture, quantity etc..
Thanks,
Bill

Hi and welcome.
Please post a pic, as that will be helpful.
Not my field but Ill go out on a limb and say, that its most like a DIY job by the owner showing pride in his choice of service.
For a verdict from the experts on this, a photo will be helpful.
imgur photo host is fast and easy.
Maybe post this in the Levine sub as well.
Hope this helps.

Buck has done many knives for a number of different businesses that either wanted their Company Names etc. etched on their blades and even possibly their sheaths so it is a good possibility this is what you have and they usually manufactured them in batches ~ I have a Buck 110 that was made for Western Farm Service it's etched right onto the blade ~

I know for certain its not a one off as my ex business partner bought one as well.
Thanks,
Bill
