Just saw one of the Boone & Crockett versions, but I am curious how long the handle is. Does anyone have a side-by-side comparison pic of a Buck 118 with a Buck 102?

Thanks.

Same handle.

Edit, OOPPS...I was wrong.... the 118 handle is larger. Read down...

Same handle.

I fear, the sizes are not the same. The 118 has a few larger handles.
In both pictures the 102 and the 118 are side by side.

118 & 105 have the same size handle. I have been skinning and cutting up deer with a different Buck each time to compare. The most useful for me is the 118 - full size handle, but a moderate size blade - good combination. OH

OK Herbert, you got me, I was wrong. Here is a 2012 118 B&C next to the newest 102 I have, a 2005.
It was one in the morning and my fingers were faster than my brain.... :o

Yeah.... I'll go with that explanation.
I like your "Flower Power" Frontiersman....

We've strayed a bit here....hey Halfneck.... is your question answered?

Yes question was answered - many thanks :)

Remembered really liking the 118 as a kid. The 102 seemed a bit too small, and the 105 a bit too big. Since I'd not really kept up with Buck I did not realize the model I'd liked had been discontinued.
